GOVERNMENT BRANCH PRESS - METTUPALAYAM
The Branch Press at Mettupalayam
was started on 15th October 1999.
The Branch Press was formed by relocating the exercise note book manufacturing
unit alongwith its men and material.
The Unit is headed by an Assistant Director (Printing)
Established exclusively for manufacture and supply of Exercise Notebooks
to the Department of Education for the use of students of Government Schools.
The present capacity of this unit is 6 lakhs notebooks per annum and proposed to be enhanced to
15 lakhs per annum.
